St. Michael's House;
- posted separate September letters to all Families receiving services. Informing Families that SMH are being guided by the HSE Framework for the Resumption of Adult Disabilities Day Services in the context of COVID-19 (May 2020).
- staff teams have produced a new video on Personal Protective Equipment, Donning & Doffing the Coverall/Hazmat Suit.
- reintroduction of NO visitors permitted to St.Michael's House Residential Units .Full information here
- Speech & Language Department have produced an Easy to Read Guide on "Safe Visiting" within St. Michael's House.
- posted Easy to Read information to service users directly as one form of communications to outline the latest Covid-19 changes to services
- have issued September FAQ's for Families
- have ensured mandatory wearing of Masks and have Personal Protective clothing, (PPE), and are continual working with the HSE to ensure continual sufficient supply
- are continuing our series of webinars support sessions for all staff on the reintroduction of services.
- Leisure Centre Team are delighted to be involved in two exciting events as part of the European Week of Sport (23 to 30 September).
- Home Teachers have published a new and exciting video for all our early learners.
- Activity Hub has more and more uptake and interaction everyday for Adults at home
- are actively working with other Intellectual Disability agencies/organisations and the HSE on planning supports of service for 2021.
- Engaging with National Federation of Voluntary Bodies for #Budget2021
