For over 30 years the Savoy Cinema Christmas Matinee has been a staple in the St. Michael's House Christmas Event Calendar and have welcomed over 400+ service users annually for an annual festive movie event.
Unfortunately due to COVID-19 restrictions, this was not possible this year.
Thanks to Fujitsu Ireland and our Activity Hub team, we kept the tradition going by taking the event online.
On December 3rd, International Day of Persons with Disabilities, over 40 St. Michael's House units joined our online Movie quiz. Everyone wore Christmas jumpers and the Fujitsu elves led the group in Christmas sing-song.
Every unit in St. Michael’s House received a movie treats voucher to support their own in-house Christmas movie screening later that day.
