Congratulations to the the pupils of St. Michael's House Baldoyle Special National School who recently completed a marathon of 42km.
The children walked and cycled the 42km around the Baldoyle community over a number of weeks with many learning to cycle, learning to walk outdoors and also increasing their fitness levels.
This amazing challenge was completed in conjunction with Kids Marathon Ireland, who greatly supported the children with top tips for keeping on target.
The pupils and staff were delighted to host Westlife's Nicky Byrne and Fingal Councillor Joan Hopkins to present the medals of achievement to the pupils with the entire school cheering them on as they completed their final kilometre.
Well done everyone - an amazing acheivement for you all. Well done to all the staff who supported such a tremendous feat.
