St Michael's House WorkAbility Programme is co-funded by the Government of Ireland, through the Department of Social Protection and the European Union. The project will run from 2024-2028 and will support individuals over the age of 16 years old to Prepare, Train and Gain meaningful employment in the community.

This project will also focus on delivering disability awareness training to employers and their staff who engage with our WorkAbility Team.  The team collaborate with corporates and businesses that share our vision and commitment to the people we support.

The team recently collaborated with our friends at the IRFU to deliver and facilitate mock interviews for adults who attend St Michael's House.

After attending a Workskills Workshop, Ronnie, Clara and Josh attended mock interviews with the team at IRFU where they practiced interview preparation and interview techniques.

They received very valuable feedback on what went well for them and what areas they could improve for their next interview.

St Michael's House and the SMH WorkAbility team would like to thank Yvonne and Linda from the IRFU Human Resources team for facilitating this important initiative.
