St Michael's House Leisure Centre and Community Sports teams are hosting the "SMH Aquathon" on Tuesday, 20th August 2024.
Over the last two months, all Aquathon participants, supported by the Leisure Centre team, have been following a training plan and tracking their activity and progress.
Next Tuesday, over 50 adults that attend St Michael's House will swim lengths of our fully accessible swimming pool followed by running or walking around the outdoor track. This event will be supported by Swim Ireland and our #SMHChampions KPMG.
We caught up with Wayne who attends our Castle Services in Coolock, Dublin 17 who is busy training for this event.
Wayne, what is your favourite sport or activity?
"I like walking around the track. I also like throwing games and swimming."

"I like trying and learning different activities".
