St Michael’s House CEO, Liz Reynolds, along with members of the National Federation of Voluntary Service Providers, met with Taoiseach Simon Harris and Ministers Roderic O’Gorman and Anne Rabbitte yesterday, Monday 27 August 2024.
Disability stakeholders, including St Michael’s House CEO, held a frank discussion highlighting key issues that service providers are experiencing.
Ms Reynolds also took the opportunity to further discuss key items currently facing St Michael’s House including;
- A call for a reform of the school leaver process
- Sustainability of Section 38 organisations
- Acknowledging the PDS mode and roadmap but a call to ensure appropriate services and therapeutic supports for adult services.
