SMH welcomes the Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth

We were honoured to welcome a visit from the Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth to St. Michael's House this morning.

In attendance were Colm O’Conaill, Audrey Haggerty, James Gibbs, Geraldine McCarthy, Margot Loughman, and Eithne Fitzgerald, who met with our CEO Liz Reynolds and our Executive Management Team to discuss the work we do and the challenges we face.

During their visit, the group had the privilege of hearing a heartfelt presentation from Richard, who shared his personal journey and experiences with St. Michael’s House.

They also had the opportunity to tour our Solas Day Centre, hear from participants in our WorkAbility programme, visit our residential services in The Glens, and see the incredible work happening at Ballymun School. We are grateful for their time and for the opportunity to highlight the impact of our services on the lives of those we support.
