St. Michael's House celebrated Health & Social Care Professionals Day on February 1st 2019.

St.Michael's House celebrated our first HSCP day by capturing our Health and Social care Professionals on camera. Our teams collaborated and braved the camera to highlight their skills of their daily work . It was an inspiration to all to hear the daily duties of our teams.
The teams preformed with such confidence their ability to explain their role in the multi-disciplinary context of the St. Michael's House service.
Our 12 minute internal staff video was screened in our three Head Offices to staff. The coffee break provided the perfect time to watch the video with colleagues.
Our teams connected and respect increased for each other's roles in providing the best service possible to the children and adults who use St. Michael's House services.
The HSCP is a National HSE initiative and the day provides a valuable opportunity to:
- Share knowledge and experiences amongst HSCP and multi-disciplinary colleagues, helping to develop communities and networks of practice.
- Share the value of HSCP services to our service users and the healthcare sys-tem overall, leading to increased awareness about the work of individual professions, better collaboration and shared understanding.
- Recognise and celebrate the enormous impact of HSCP services on our ser-vice users, made possible only through our dedicated and inspiring work.
