St. Michael' House are working with the HSE and Public Health Services during this Covid-19 Pandemic.

St.Michael's House:
- are working with HSE on keeping essential Day Services open in Level 3
- have given detailed guidance on Christmas visits to and from to St.Michael's House Residential Units for Christmas 2020.
- Speech and Language Department have produced an Easy to Read Guide on "Safe Visiting" within St. Michael's House
- have published Headlines - Easy to Read Guide for our services
- majority 2020 school leavers have commenced their placements and plans are in place for the remainder to start in the New Year
- have produced our December E-zine with Organisation updates
- have issued End of Year Messages from Children , Young Persons and Adult Service Directorates
- have issued new E-learning courses for staff on Covid-19 safety measures and procedures
- have issued all staff with access to Flu Vaccine information
- raised and distributed €21,000 through the Devices project to purchase devices for Service users to increase personal connections and digital services where possible.
- have introduced Browsealoud to our external website ( www.smh.ie) for audio and visual improvements for people with disabilities to access our website more during Covid-19
- have completed significant work on ICT infrastructure to prepare for transitioning of digital services and systems for 2021
- celebrated International Persons with Disability Day 2020 by showcasing activities and projects throughout our services
- celebrated Christmas matinee sponsored by Fujitsu on our Digital Activity Hub with over 46 service users live online
- celebrated Christmas with our Santa Children video by the CYP teams. A Must watch !
