St. Michael’s House were delighted to host a virtual Christmas Carol Concert with long time charity partners, Fujitsu, this week.
This year, the Strengthening Disabilities Project Team invited service users, Fujitsu CEO Tony O'Malley, Cathleen Doohan (Director of HR & CSR Fujitsu), SMH staff and Fujitsu staff to a morning of online festive carol singing with our Christmas choirs from Belcamp Day Service, Northbrook, Abhainn Edenmore, Solas Day Service, Grangemore Local Centre and Omni Day Service.
In 2022, St Michael's House secured funding to develop a Strengthening Disabilities Project to create an active rights-based culture within St Michael's House. Part of this project was to develop a Total Communication approach amongst service users, families and staff, and our choirs this morning were delighted to showcase their singing talents to everyone via this approach.
A Christmas Raffle sponsored by Fujitsu secured fantastic prizes for;
- Link Northside
- Shanvarna Residential in Santry
- Adare Hub
- Sean Trabh Local Centre
- Oaklands Local Centre
- Ferndale Residential
Vouchers were also given to all our wonderful choirs.
